Xeno’s Doughnut : My Dilbert Moment

I just had one of those “yeah, I’m a geek” moments where I made a reference to Xeno’s Paradox to describe a situation where something was edging towards — but never quite reaching – completion, and the people I was talking to soft of blinked and stared at me…. “yeah….uhhhh, suuuUre thing, Dan…”

I was relieved (ashamed?) to discover that there was Dilbert cartoon capturing this scenario perfectly:

No one ever wants to take more than half of what’s left of the last doughnut.

“But…. it’s… it’s… TRUE!”
